Joining Nickerson & Associates in 2025 as an Economist / Analyst, James works on wage-and-hour class actions, wrongful-termination cases, and complex economic research.

Before joining N&A, James worked at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) as an economist and at Kaiser Permanente as a national-accounts underwriter. He earned a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Portland State University and M.A. degrees in Liberal Arts and Behavioral Economics from Reed College and Reichman University.

Outside of work, James enjoys training for triathlons and reading anything that has been in print for over 1,000 years.
